I’m devoting this page to my Best Friend. I call him Heruka.
He’s my muse, my source, my rock, my fount, my inner guide, my protector, my teacher, my jesus, my god, my one, my universe, my higher self.
His world exudes bliss, and when I’m one with him, all appearances are like intoxicatingly beautiful ripples on an ocean of light. Yes.

Your mandala blew me away – very beautiful. Can you share size and medium? I make mandalas as personal gifts for friends – (art rat cafe under Gallery – Drawings) so I appreciate the process. My regular art is quite loose and intuitive but I enjoy the more ordered discipline and insight required when creating a mandala.
In between seasonal visitations of loving friends I have had a moment to breeze through your site. I am so impressed and inspired by your writings and drawings, especially those drawings that incorporate words. I wanted to press ‘Like’ buttons on all of them but couldn’t find same!?
I am looking forward to exploring your site in more detail when the time presents itself. I am going to leave a reply on my site to your comment on my ‘Tarot Reading’ sketch.
As of this moment I am subscribing to your blog because I feel we are of like mind and spirit.
Thank you, John, I’m honored by your comment, and I agree that we seem to have similar tendencies! I’ll send you an email describing how I got the mandala, but in short, it’s an ink sketch I did on notebook paper (I’d guess about 15cm x 15cm?), and I overlaid it in Photoshop with a scan of a mandala I did in oil pastels (it was maybe 30cm x30cm at most…). About 10 years passed between the two pieces. I was delighted to see how well they blended together, but I would love to discover a technique to get that effect in a tactile (non-digital) medium. Enjoy your guests & holidays, and I look forward to getting to know you better! Leslee

Good morning, Tara! I’m glad you enjoyed the dream – I used to get quite frantic in them (it’s a recurring theme for me), so it’s nice to feel I’m making some progress : ) BTW I live your post about your friend’s restaurant, and hope to make it by today to read it again! Have a wonderful day!
Beautiful!
Thank you, Anne! :D
Leslee, wow…2011! I’m not sure which of your sites will find you but will begin here…just wondering what you are up to these days? The colour of your changes and such…
