Quite different than Atlanta! Something about this really gripped me, and I wish I could post a hologram of the scene. Interrupted: the life of the tree, the connection of the roots to the ground, the continuity of the trunk once it fell, the fence once the tree fell on it, and to top it all off, the fence trails off down into the small canyon, dwindling into the scrub oak… But very beautiful. It’s been a very hectic several days for me, I’m hoping to find a little time for reading soon… I hope you’re well, Ben! :)
