For the beginning of what will hopefully be my last day of driving for a while, here is a little momento of Texas for us all to enjoy! Today makes Day 4 on the road… Towing a very heavy trailer trends to kinda slow things down a bit… Jason and Zoe are wonderful traveling companions, and it’s nice to have company this time! This trip carries a more “practical” energy about it for me… That’s why you haven’t seen many photos our posts… Or, as Jason observed last night: “Please don’t take this the wrong way… But whatever patience you have, goes down with the sun, doesn’t it?” I think that’s about the nicest way anyone has ever said that to me… Yes, I admit that driving 55 mph towing a ton of “possessions” for four days has a less-than-patience-inducing effect on my personality… Bless Jason’s patience! Will try to post a group photo later today… Wish us luck, for getting through the mountains this afternoon! I look forward to catching up with you all more soon!
Haha! That is the yummiest looking waffle I have seen to date. I love waffles! That’s too funny Leslee, it goes down with the sun eh? That’s actually quite a good analogy. We love you both and can’t wait to hear all about everything! Be safe, dear Leslee, Jason and Zoe! Namaste’
Drive safe Leslee. Enjoy the ride as much as possible.
We are with You all, Les and company, thank you for keeping us in touch
Love and Light :)

Thank you all for the loving comments! It is so nice to finally be here… I’m still recovering a bit from the packing and travel, and hope to be sharing more with you soon! With love and light, Leslee
There’s some significant lessons here about possessions and patience and traveling light – I’m still catching up on blog reading so am a little behind. You will be there by now and I hope all is well in your new home…
Oh, I hear ya, John!
I had a surprise lesson from this one… A week before I left, I was ready to leave everything but clothes and computers behind, and zip on out West… Then, it was explained to me that we can view our possessions as many things, and in this case I was suddenly asked to view them as resources rather than burdens.
I reflected on how I had already ditched most everything twice before in this life… And many of those things, I had ended up replacing!
Now that I’m settling in, everything seems to have a useful purpose, so that’s reassuring… And some of the things that I’m not needing, my friend who traveled here with me is able to use.
Now, keeping the focus on getting that little CRV to make the trip was an entirely different lesson!
Thank goodness we made it… I’m quite sure we had some extraordinary help along the way!
Hoping you’re well!
All is very well here, thank you, and I understand your observations on possessions – I would feel similar if I moved. I like “resources rather than burdens” – a more positive point of view. May joy and new wonders be yours in your new home…
