Hi Everyone!

In November 2016, after another tsunami of life-changing events, I decided to take my writing more seriously.

I founded a publishing company, Lotus Dance Press, and started a new personal site, lesleehare.net.

I’ve also got a Facebook page (please like me!), and am working on an Instagram presence.

If  you’ve enjoying reading and looking at what I’ve shared over the years here on leslee-hare.com, please hop over to one or all of those venues, and travel along with me there!

Lotus Dance Press published 21 Steps to Happiness in October 2018, and it’s now available on Amazon (or you can request it at your local bookstore). We’ve just  dropped the price, in time for holiday gift-giving!

There’s a Coloring Book version too!

Also in the works are a new novel, Sophia Learns to Fly (working title).

A young non-neuro-typical DNA research scientist pits her intuition and free-time obsessions against a strict research lab culture to prove that not all humans are really all-human… With a little help from her off-world friends.

and I’m working on several more Coloring Books that I hope to publish in early 2019.

I hope you’ll join me soon!

Best wishes for joyous holidays and a wonderful 2019!

I love that NgTom shows that despite divergence, there is always reunion, and it’s quite impossible to distinguish beginning and end. Beautiful life!

That's how I see the world

My fellow blogger Ben Naga posted this last Sunday:

ELEGANCE

The elegance in the room
That no one notices normally
And is rarely spoken of
Remains when everyone departs

~Ben Naga

an empty room awaiting its contents

It calls to mind for me the moment whenever I remember that I’m not “alone”, no matter how empty and alone a room might feel…

And how our Guidance patiently awaits us, no matter how far we stray…

enlightened beings are everywhere…

20120205-004338.jpg

so many layers to peel back
so many seasons to adjust
so many moods to center within
the rainbow’s reflected in the dust.

how much we complement each other…

This sketch looks at common threads that run through our lives, throughout our lifetimes…

QUITE TINY BOXES

tiny little boxes

that we live in lifetime after lifetime

…insulated, separated…

karmically irradiated

sometimes it’s hard to see the connecting threads.

Another intuitive sketch with words; I’m not sure I understand the meaning or significance of all the words…

Comments are welcome, might help me make better sense of them!

“What a jumble.

“Many others fill our spaces and offer examples of ways we may awaken…

“Allah seeps in where there are gaps needing filling and makes things whole

” ‘Jesus’ lives in a circle that is a closed loop

“Jesus lives on vibrantly in the hearts of all…

“God is bigger than one dream

“(this was an enso until everyone arrived)

“Krsna simply… is love.

“U are greater than the Universe or you.

“Buddhas wish no one would notice them… but listen anyway.

“All ° bring us to one still point

“of being together as oNe.”

I hope all my kind mothers has a wonderful Mothers’ Day!

All right, Post A Day friends, let’s go diving!

Actually, I first wished to be an “Injun” and live off of nuts and berries in the wild; forget the Cowboys (well, until I saw my first Clint Eastwood Western, but that’s another story)…

Then, I read some Norse mythology and aspired vigorously to Viking-hood… But the gender issue presented itself pretty quickly, not to mention the dilemma of bringing historical figures into the present…

I finally settled, quietly and for some time, on the fantasy of plunging into azure depths as a photographer for Jacques Cousteau. I didn’t want be Jacques Couteau, I just wanted to dive in, swim around, and record visions of incredible things that live in another world. I wanted to observe, record, and simply enjoy.

How ironic… after so many years of believing I was doing other things, I now realize that I am living my dream come true…

Can you tell that green block is a diving board, and I’m going in again?

Thank you for joining me! Come on in, the water is perfect!

I sat down a few days ago and tried a new approach to my sketch journal…

I just followed my “intuition”, and the pen went on a rather wild journey across the paper, in a line that jumps and squiggles and sweeps back and forth, up and down, with WORDS interspersed.

I hope the resolution on this image is high enough that those who are interested can make out the words and follow their progression…

One thing I understand is that they can really be read in any sequence, carrying different meanings, all of which are accurate.

I’m not sure if this sketch is completed yet… Every day seems to fill in a little more of the “gaps”!
